The Antikythera Mechanism is Pektop's first album, released in December 2010. Pektop has tried to create an apocalyptical view of the world, flooding, earthquakes and the roar of the last great beast roaming the lands. The mechanism itself is an actual artefact, found by the coast of Antikythera, an island near Greece, it predicts the movement and positions of the stars we see above us, and the dark fate they have in store for us.

Pektop is a Belgian band out of Leuven, started up in 2007 by Adriaan De Raymaeker, Ivo Rensen and Steven Eembeek.
